Condo was super clean! Our family made wonderful memories here. Great location within walking distance to pier and restaurants. Needed maintenance for a small minor incident that was our fault with a shower door and they were there within an hour to fix. Can’t beat the included beach service either. Also pool was nice and cleaned every day! My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer!

This condo location is fantastic! The view from the living room and master BR is the beach and Gulf of MEXICO! The pool was just a couple units to the right and a couple flights of stairs away and visible from the condo's balcony (which is accessible from the living room and master
BR). The unit was tidy and clean. There were sufficient dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans for us to use during our stay. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. The couch and love seat were fine, but we did not use the sleeper sofa as a bed. Our only complaints would be the beds: The frames from both beds make a LOT of noise. The mattresses are also on the firm side without any sort of mattress pad. We are used to a pillow top, so the one in the master BR was uncomfortable for us. We could also not find comfortable pillows, but this is subjective, and other visitors may not have this complaint. The door to the master BR rubs against the doorframe when opening and closing. If someone were sleeping in the living room this sound would scare the peace right out of them! The lock to the master bathroom pocket door also doesn't work. So the combination of the broken lock and ill fitting bedroom door meant anyone seeking some privacy had to be a little more diligent, especially if the curtains are open on the glassdoor that opens to the previously mentioned balcony. I prefer FWB to Destin as there seemed to be less tourist traffic , but were close enough to enjoy Destin's attractions. We were four adults and one toddler so the condo was the perfect size for us and so much better than a hotel/motel. Our only regret is we did not stay long enough!

We really enjoyed our two month stay in Florida. Beautiful weather, beautiful beaches and a very relaxing stay. Our accommodations were very clean and well maintained. Although we weren’t able to have the original unit that we rented, the substitute was very nice. We would definitely recommend Sugar Sands.

Couple of issues with the property, not our specific condo. The closest elevator to our condo was out of order our entire time there, making it less convenient to get to the beach. The hot tub was not hot one afternoon and after notifying maintenance, someone came quickly and adjusted the heat but it didn’t last long.. The only issue with our condo was the sliding glass door which was fixed the day we reported it.

Our second time at this complex and first in the unit. The needs some updating to bring it up to other rental units, especially in the hallway bath and second bedroom. Bring something to cover the window in the second bedroom as the outside light is bright and the shades don't block the light. The location is perfect, you can see the fireworks from the pier off your balcony if you don't want to walk to the beach. Beach service provided, front row everyday on the white sands and clear water.

We had the best stay! We come to the beach every year and always pick a different spot. My teenage son rated this place as one of his top three. We loved the short walk to the beach, double balconies, clean room, everything we needed was provided plus more. There was a woman on site who was constantly cleaning and picking up and making the place nice.

I stayed at Destin West as a kid & in 33 now and to this day it remains one of my favorite vacation memories so when I rediscovered Destin west as an adult I knew that’s where we were staying! I can not think of enough positive words to describe my experience! The pool areas are amazing and beautiful and open late, anytime I communicated with the host they were extremely pleasant and prompt and SUPER accommodating and never made me feel like a burden.(I’ve had that issue in the past). The condo was clean & perfect for my son and I. It was week in absolute paradise and I hated to leave! 100000000/10 recommend!

Experience was great, this is a very family friendly place with lots of kids so you need to be prepared for that as the balcony is directly over the pool. The views of the beach were awesome and we found it very easy to relax. Parking is covered, excellent unexpected benefit and the room is directly off the elevator another excellent benefit. **Note - traffic right now is tough because of a new bridge being built so just budget extra time and keep all trips to the island!**

Very nice unit. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed linger. Nicely furnished and very clean.
Only complaint I have is there is no place to put your groceries except on top of the kitchen counter. The pantry is locked and I assume only for the owners. Since we were only there for 3 nights, not a big problem, but would be awkward for a week.

We enjoyed our stay! The condo was very cute, well decorated. Good size for us, we have two young children who slept in bunks. Location of condo is right above pool - convenient for running up to grab things or peaking down at kids in pool, but it was pretty noisy most all day until 10 or so at night. Condo really had everything we needed, listing was accurate. Felt clean & comfortable.
